Baby Feeding Drop In

Breastfeeding is natural but it’s not always easy to get established. Healthify provides information covering common breastfeeding topics including breastfeeding basics, expressing milk, breastfeeding problems and videos on getting started. 

Global Health Media have created a series of breastfeeding videos that are available in 32 different languages. These can help with making breastfeeding easy and enjoyable, increasing milk supply, and knowing if your baby is getting enough. 

There are apps made to support breastfeeding, including advice and guidance on managing breastfeeding challenges and finding breastfeeding friendly spaces. Refer to Healthify for a list of free breastfeeding apps it has reviewed.

Rachel’s Breastfeeding Drop-in Session 

  • When: 10-11.30am, Thursdays (during term time)

  • Ora Toa: Lactation Consultant available on Fridays if you enrol in their Wellchild service (instead of Plunket)
